On a sunny Saturday afternoon in Johannesburg, South Africa, a group of close friends gathered at Mabo’s beautiful home, tucked away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, you immediately felt relaxed and at home.
This gathering was Ms.Mathole’s genius idea, to “get all the crazy speeches out amongst friends so that we can all be upstanding citizens amongst the parents at the wedding”….And oh was this a necessary step. Our friends got to meet each other, some for the first time, in a really easy, authentic and heartfelt setting, sharing laughs and food, wonderfully prepared by Chef Bongani Mahlaba (@Bongagaga), whilst listening to Sounds & Stuff like that… by DJ Tanya (@Tanya_djza).
The highlight for us was looking around the garden and witnessing genuine human connections taking place. It filled us with gratitude to be reminded that we are privileged to walk this journey of life with amazing spirits, who are kind, genuine, funny, intelligent, generous and filled with the same passion we do to transform and contribute positively to the Prosperous Africa for Africans mission.
This event really kicked off the Wedding Celebrations season…and what better way to do it, than to bring together friends…our chosen family…
